What type of backup should I use?
A full backup will back up the entire contents of the backup’s source each time it runs. It is independent of any previous backups. Full backups are faster to restore than incremental backups. Incremental backups only backup new files, or files that have changed since your most recent backup. Backing up incrementally uses less disk space and is faster than full backups. Choosing this option is strongly recommended when backing up to a hard drive or a network.
