Options
The options available depend on the application you are using. This dialog box may contain the following options:
n Render using: Choose whether to use hardware or software mode when generating the output file. In hardware mode, the application uses the video card. This results in better performance and quality; however, this mode may not be supported by all video cards, and requires more video memory. Software mode is slower, and may support fewer effects and transitions. To determine whether your video card supports hardware mode, click Graphics Test.
Note: Before running the graphic test, ensure that you have installed the latest driver for your video card.
n Proxy files: Specify where proxy files will be stored. Proxy files store audio and images used during editing and preview to increase system performance. To select a different location, click Browse.
n Captured narration: Specify where recorded audio files will be stored. To select a different location, click Browse.
n DVD Temp files: Specify where temporary project files will be stored. To select a different location, click Browse.
n Audio Filter: Specify where audio filter files will be stored. To select a different location, click Browse.
n Enable 3D Screen Display Playback: Turns 3D processing on or off.
n Display: Choose a 3D display format that is compatible with the monitor or television you will be using to play or preview the video. If you will be using a standard 2D display, select Anaglyph (Red/Cyan).
n Right eye first / Left eye first: For displays other than anaglyph, you have the option to reverse the display order. Try changing this setting if the 3D effect looks incorrect or cross-eyed.
