Settings - Text - Main tab
The Text tab of the text Settings dialog box gives you many options for customizing the text.
Style
You can customize the following options for your text:
n Style: Selects a predefined text style. Click New to save your current settings as a new custom style.
n Font. Sets the type of font to be used for the text.
n Justification. Sets the position of the text. For example, you could choose Center to have your text appear in the center of the item.
n Size. Sets the font size.
n Width: Increases or decreases the width of the text. To adjust the text width, enter a new number, or click Plus (+) or Minus (-).
n Bold: Bolds text, if selected.
n Italic: Italicizes text, if selected.
Spacing
n Letter: To adjust the spacing between the letters, enter a number, or click Plus (+) or Minus (-).
n Line: To adjust the spacing between the lines of text, enter a number, or click Plus (+) or Minus (-).
n Paragraph Spacing: To adjust the spacing between the paragraphs of text, enter a new number, or click Plus (+) or Minus (-).
n Paragraph Indentation: To adjust the indentation of the paragraph, enter a number or click Plus (+) or Minus (-).
Vertical text
Select to change the text orientation from horizontal to vertical. This option is useful for Chinese or Japanese text, for example.
