Settings - Text - 3D tab
The 3D tab gives you many options for creating 3D effects for the text, text outline, frame, and frame edge. It also allows you to change such properties as: surface shine, intensity, angle, elevation, and highlights.
Text 3-D
n Bevel. Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list, and adjust the width to create a 3D effect by adding or changing a bevel in the edge of the letters.
n Outline bevel. Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list, and adjust the width, to create a 3D effect by adding or changing a bevel in the text outline.
Frame 3-D
n Bevel. Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list, and adjust the width to create a 3D effect by adding or changing a bevel in the frame edge.
n Outline bevel. Select one of the shapes from the drop-down list, and adjust the width to create a 3D effect by adding or changing a bevel to the frame edge.
Lighting and surfaces
These options allow you to change the characteristics of the simulated lighting.
n Intensity: Adjust the brightness of diffuse light.
n Angle: Adjust the angle at which the light strikes the character or frame.
n Elevation: Adjust the height of the light above the character or frame.
n Shine: Adjusts glossiness (that is, the diameter and fuzziness of highlight spots). Increase shine for smaller, more defined highlights; reduce shine for bigger, fuzzier highlights
n Highlights: Adjusts the brightness of “point light,” light that is reflected from highlights.
Note: Use the slider, or click Plus (+) or Minus (-) to increase or decrease the effect.
