Video Trimmer
This dialog box lets you trim frames from video clips so that only the parts of the video that you want are added to your production. For example, if you have a video clip that runs for two minutes, but you only want to use one minute of the clip, you can trim the unwanted frames from the beginning or the end of the clip, or both.
It also allows you to trim and loop a video that you have added to your production as an overlay. For example, you can trim out a five-second section of an overlay, and then have this section loop for the duration of the overlay effect.
To trim a video clip:
1 To change where the video clip begins, drag the green Start Point marker to the desired position.
2 To change where the video clip ends, drag the red End Point marker to the desired position.
Tip: For finer control, you can drag the Start and End jog wheels to move the Start Point marker or End Point marker to the desired position.
3 Optional: Use the Speed Plus (+) or Minus (-) to increase or decrease the speed of the video clip.
4 Click OK.
