Changing the equalization of an audio clip
You can change the equalization settings of an audio clip using simple or advanced equalization settings.
To apply simple or advanced equalization:
1 In the Equalizer, select Simple or Advanced.
2 Use the sliders to adjust the levels. You can use the preview controls to play the audio clip while you are adjusting the levels.
Note: When you preview, watch the Left Level and Right Level meters to be sure the audio is not clipping and adding distortion. The indicators reach the far right area of the meter and the end clip turns red when the audio is clipping — the volume should be reduced.
3 To return the levels to the normal (neutral) position, click Reset (Simple Equalizer) or 0 dB (Advanced equalizer).
