Extracting images and audio from video files
Media Manager can extract a frame from a supported video file, and save it in an image file (in BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, or TIF format). Media Manager can also extract audio from a video file, saving it in a WAV file.
To extract an image from a video file:
1 Right-click the video file and choose Extract Image.
The Preview dialog box appears.
2 Use the playback controls to display the image that you want to save in an image file.
3 Click Extract Image.
The Save As dialog box appears.
4 Browse to the folder in which you want to save the new image file, enter the name for the new file, and choose the file format.
5 Click Save.
6 To close the Preview dialog box, click Close.
To extract audio from a video file:
1 Right-click the video file and choose Extract Audio.
The Save As dialog box appears.
2 Browse to the folder in which you want to save the new audio file, and enter the name for the new file.
3 Click Save.
4 To close the Extract Audio dialog box, click Close.
