Step 2: Capture video
Use this screen to capture the video for your disc.
Capture device
From the drop-down list, select the device from which you want to capture video. If your device is not in the list, make sure that it is connected to your computer.
Quality
Select the output quality. The better the output quality, the greater the resulting file size. For some disc types, these settings cannot be changed. (If the disc type you’ve chosen only supports one quality level, the Quality settings will be inactive.)
Create chapters
Choose whether to create chapters in your movies. You can choose not to create chapters, or you can choose to create chapters based on scene changes or elapsed time.
Capture preview
Movie Name: Enter a name for the movie you want to capture.
Capture now:
n To capture live video, click Capture now. When you are finished capturing, click Stop.
n To capture part of a video, use the playback controls to set the starting point and then click Capture now. When you have captured the desired section, click Stop.
Capture entire tape: Click this button to capture the entire video.
Set Capture Length: To capture for a set length of time, select Set Capture Length then use the controls to set the time period.
