Changing the start and end points of an audio clip
You can delete audio from the beginning and end of an audio clip. For example, you might trim the first 10 seconds from a 60-second audio clip so that the first 10 seconds does not play.
Note: The original audio file is not changed.
To change the start or end position of an audio clip in the Audio Trimmer:
1 Open the Audio Trimmer in one of the following ways:
n For an audio clip associated with the production, right-click the Production Editor background and choose Edit > Background Audio.
n For an audio clip associated with an item, right-click the panel containing the item, and choose Edit > Background Audio.
Note: If the Audio Editor displays, click Trim Audio.
2 To adjust the start point, drag the In Point playback head to the desired position and click Mark Start Point.
Tip: For finer control, use the In Point jog wheel.
3 To adjust the end point, drag the Out Point playback head to the desired position and click Mark End Point.
Tip: For finer control, use the Out Point jog wheel.
4 To close the Audio Trimmer, click OK.
