Cleaning an audio clip with the Audio Editor
You can use the Audio Editor to remove noise—such as hisses or clicks—from background audio or native audio.
To remove noise from background audio:
1 Open the Audio Editor for the audio clip you want to edit (see Opening the Audio Editor).
2 Click Clean Audio.
3 In the Audio Cleaner, click on a section of the audio clip that contains the noise. If possible, use a section that contains only noise—that is, an otherwise silent section.
4 Preview the results of the cleaning effect. To hear the audio with the cleaning applied, select Apply Cleaning Filter and click Play. To hear the audio without the cleaning, clear Apply Cleaning Filter and click Play.
5 To apply the changes and close the Audio Cleaner, click OK.
6 To close the Audio Editor, click OK.
To remove noise from the native audio of a video clip:
1 Right-click the video clip and choose Edit > Native Audio.
