Getting to know the Storyline view
n Playback Head. The Playback Head indicates where the production will start playing, if you click Play.
n Panel. Each panel can contain an item, such as a photo, video clip, or color panel. Once you have added an item to a panel, you can enhance the item by adding audio, transitions, text, overlays, or video effects.
Tip: You can drag effects and text from the Effect Selector to a panel.
n Transition panel. The transition panel is the space that holds a transition between two items (a transition can be described as the method of changing of one item into the next; for example, a “wipe” or a “dissolve”).
n Production Editor background. The Production Editor background is where you drag items (such as audio files or effects) to add them to the entire production.
Tip: You can drag text and effects from the Effect Selector or Media Selector to the Production Editor background.
n Production-level Icon container. The container that shows effects and audio applied to the entire production.
n Item-level Icon container. The container that shows effects and audio applied to an individual panel.
