n Beats per minute: Enter the number of beats per minute that you want to have in your mix. Sound Editor supports the maximum of 240 beats per minute.

n Snap to beat: When this option is selected, and you move sound clips in the Mix Editor, they will snap to the nearest beat, depending on how many beats per minute you have defined.

n Directory: Specify the location of the temporary working folder where Sound Editor stores recorded audio files.

n File format for flattened and mix pasted files: Specify the format in which flattened and mix pasted files are stored. Select a format from the list, or select Custom and click Edit to define custom settings.

n Select Playback Device: Click to change the audio device used for playback.

n Default Settings: Click to reset all options to their default settings.
