Connecting a DV camera to your computer
If you are using the DV camera option, you can use this method to connect a DV camera to your computer:
1 Connect the DV camera to your computer using an IEEE 1394 cable.
2 Insert a blank tape on which you want to record your production.
3 Using the DV camera controls, cue the tape to the point at which you want to begin recording your production. For more information, see the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the DV camera.
4 When you are ready, begin recording on the DV camcorder.
5 When recording has begun, click Start Output.
Your computer will now begin transferring your production directly to the DV camera.
