Preparing and hooking up a TV or VCR for outputting
Before you begin outputting your production to a TV or VCR, you need to set up the equipment.
Follow these steps to connect a TV or VCR to your computer:
1 Connect the VCR or TV to the computer via a cable.
2 Connect the sound cable from the VCR to the sound input jack on your computer’s sound card.
3 Insert a blank tape into your VCR, and rewind or fast-forward it to the point at which you want to begin recording.
4 Just before you click Start Output, begin recording video from the VCR.
