Adding transitions and fading
You can adjust how tracks fade in and fade out, and also add transitions between tracks on an Audio CD. Using transitions, you can add a gap (silence) between tracks, an overlap with the previous track, or use beatmatching to create a continuous dance or party-mix with the beats of each track in perfect sync with the next track.
To adjust how tracks fade in and fade out:
1 Select the track(s) you want fade in or fade out. To apply the same fade-in and fade-out effect to more than one track at a time, select the tracks, and then set the fade-in and fade-out options.
2 In the track list, click the Fade In button, and choose from the following options:

5 To preview the transition, click the Preview button in the transition area of the track list (or right-click and choose Play Transition).
