Styles dialog box—Smart Objects tab
Smart Objects contain the information that appears in project menus. You can also use Smart Objects such as a background color or image to change the appearance of the menu background. To add and remove Smart Objects:
1 Select or clear the boxes for each type of Smart Object as needed. You can choose from the following Smart Objects:
As you select Smart Objects, you can see the results in the Preview area.
2 If you select a background image, click the Image button, and then locate and select a photo.
3 If you selected a background image, you can choose one of the following options:
n Center (100% scale)
n Fit to screen (keep aspect ratio)
n Fit to screen (stretch image)
n Fill screen (keep aspect ratio)
n Tile
4 If you select Background Color, click Color, and then choose a color from the color palette.
5 To apply a hue (a color tint) to the background, use the Color Change slider.
6 To change the appearance of the text on the menu, select the text and then click Text Properties.
You can change text properties such as the font, color, size, alignment, or angle. You can also add a shadow or text outline, or background color or image.
7 To change the menu style, click the Styles tab.
For more information, click Help or press F1 in the Style tab.
8 To save the changes you have made as a custom menu style, click Save as Style. Enter a name for the new style, and then click OK.
9 To apply the new style to your project, click OK.
