Overview of Music Disc Creator projects
This section outlines the basic steps that are common to all Music Disc Creator projects. This section gives instructions for the following procedures:
n Start a new project if you don’t already have one open. For more information, see Starting, opening, and saving projects.
n Select the type of project you want to create. For more information about the types of projects that you can create, see the chapters that follow in this guide.
Note: Some versions of Music Disc Creator may only include one project type.
n Add audio tracks to the project. For more information, see Adding tracks to your project and Finding tracks and managing track information.
n If needed, trim audio tracks, add fading, and remove clicks, crackling, and other unwanted noises in Quick Sound Editor.
n If needed, add or edit track information, such as the track names or album titles.
n Preview the tracks in your project. For more information, see Previewing tracks.
Once you have completed these steps, the next steps to take depend on the type of project you are working with. Continue with the chapters that follow in this guide.
To complete your project by exporting the tracks, burning the project to disc or saving a disc image file, or sending tracks to a portable device, see Completing Music Disc Creator projects.
