Removing an audio clip
Note: You cannot remove native audio that is part of a video clip, but you can use the volume controls to mute it (for more information, see What is an audio effect?).
To remove an audio clip from an item:
1 Right-click the item containing the audio clip, and choose Remove > Background Audio.
If there is only one audio clip associated with the item, the audio clip is removed.
If there is more than audio clip associated with the item, the object selector appears. Continue with the following step.
2 Select the audio clip you want to remove, and then click OK.
To remove an audio clip from an item:
1 Right-click the Production Editor background and choose Remove > Background Audio.
If there is only one audio clip associated with the production, the audio clip is removed.
If there is more than audio clip associated with the production, the object selector appears. Continue with the following step.
2 Select the audio clip you want to remove, and then click OK.
