Editing the audio envelope
You can precisely control volume changes within an audio clip by adding envelope points to the audio waveform, and adjusting the envelope points to increase or decrease the volume.
To edit the audio envelope in Timeline view:
1 In the Timeline toolbar, click Edit Volume Envelope for Audio Objects.
The audio clip displays as a waveform.
2 To add an envelope point, click the desired location on the waveform.
3 Drag the envelope point up to increase the volume at the location, or down to decrease the volume.
4 Repeat
step 2 and
step 3 for each envelope point you want to add.
