Adding decorative edges
Follow this procedure to add an edge design to your photo. The edge design has two parts: the inside edge, and a fill that extends from the inside edge to the outside boundary of the project.
To add an edge to a photo:
1 In the Enhance pane, click Edge.
The Edge dialog box appears.
2 Select an edge category from the drop-down list.
3 Double-click the thumbnail for the edge you want to use.
4 To use a solid color mat, choose the color in one of the following ways:
n In the Select a mat category box, select Colors, and double-click the thumbnail for the color you want to use.
n Double-click one of the suggested colors.
n In the Choose a color drop-down list, select a color.
Tip: For more color choices, select More colors. Or use the eye dropper: Click the eye dropper tool, and then click a sample of the color you want to use. You can click a color anywhere in the PhotoSuite window—for example, you can select a color from a photo in the Canvas.
5 To use a textured mat, follow these steps:
a In the Select a mat category box, select Textures.
b Double-click the thumbnail of the texture you want to use.
c To change the color of the texture, either double-click one of the suggested colors, or use the Choose a color drop-down list.
d Select the Tiled check box if you want the pattern to be repeated multiple times. If you clear this check box, the pattern appears only once, and is stretched to cover the entire mat.
6 Specify the final size of the enhanced photo.
7 Drag the slider to adjust the width of the edge.
