Adding predefined shapes
Follow this procedure to add a predefined shape, such as a circle, square, or triangle, to a photo or a project.
For each shape you add, PhotoSuite creates a new object in the photo or project. You can select the object and edit the shape.
To add a predefined shape:
1 In the Tools pane, click Predefined Shapes.
A dialog box appears prompting you to select the shape to add to your photo.
2 Select a shape, and click Add selected shape.
The shape appears on the Canvas.
3 Select the shape style (Fill and Border, Fill, or Border Only).
4 Select the fill and border colors from the appropriate drop-down list box (Fill Color or Border Color).
Tip: For more color choices, select More colors. Or use the eye dropper: Click the eye dropper tool, and then click a sample of the color you want to use. You can click a color anywhere in the PhotoSuite window—for example, you can select a color from a photo in the Canvas.
5 Use the sliders to adjust the following settings:
n Thickness: Increase or decrease the thickness of the shape border.
n Softness: Increase or decrease the blurring of the edges of the shape, or how much the shape blends in to the background.
6 Move, resize, or rotate the shape, as needed.
