Saving photo projects
Follow this procedure to save your photo project. You can save your photo project when you are finished with editing.
To save your photo:
1 To save your changes, on the Canvas Toolbar, click Save.
If the file is not in the PhotoSuite project format (for example, .bmp or .jpg), a dialog box may appear asking if you want to save the changes in the PhotoSuite project format. If you do, you can make changes to individual objects at a later time.
Tip: If you want to skip this dialog in future, and always flatten the file, check Don't ask me to save in the PhotoSuite format, and always flatten.

2 If you are prompted to save the changes in project format, choose one of the following options:
n Click Yes to save the file in the native PhotoSuite format (.dmsp).
The Save As File dialog box appears. Continue with step 3.
n Click No to flatten the file by saving it in its original format.
A dialog box appears asking if you want to replace the existing file. Go to step 4.
3 If you clicked Yes in step 2, choose a location in which to save the project, enter a name for the project, and click Save.
4 If you clicked No in step 2, perform these steps:
a Choose one of the following options:
n Click Yes to replace the existing file.
The photo is flattened, and saved in its original format. See Flattening objects or projects for more information.
n Click No to choose a new name and/or location.
The Save As File dialog box appears. Continue with the following step.
b Choose a location in which to save the file, enter a new file name, and click Save.
The file is flattened, saved in its original format, but under a different name. See Flattening objects or projects for more information.
