Optical recorder drives in use by other applications
When a disc is being recorded, the source and destination drives are constantly being monitored by the recording software. If any of these drives are being used by applications other than the recording application, the recording will fail.
To avoid this error:
n Close other applications while recording a disc.
n Turn off the AutoPlay feature for your drive (see your Windows manual or Windows Help for full instructions).
If DLA (Drive Letter Access) is installed on your computer, you may occasionally see a message stating that DLA is using the drive you intend to use to burn a disc. This most frequently occurs if you attempt to use Roxio Home immediately after inserting a disc in your drive. If this message appears, wait 15 seconds for DLA to relinquish control of the drive then continue with your project.
