Adding basic text and text effects to an entire production
You can add basic text and text effects to the entire production. For example, you might want to have a copyright message appear throughout a production.
To add basic text to an entire production:
1 In the Production Editor, click the first item on which you want the text to appear.
2 On the Preview toolbar, click Add Text.
A “Type your text here” placeholder object appears in the Preview area.
3 Select the placeholder, and type your text.
To add a text effect to the entire production:
1 In the Add Content area, click Add Text Effect.
The Add Text Effect dialog box appears.
Tip: To sort the thumbnails by category, choose a category from the drop-down list.
To see a preview of the text effect, click the Play button in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail.
2 Click the text effect you want to use, and then click OK.
The Add text effect dialog appears.
3 Select Add to production, and then click OK.
Tip: You can also open the Effect Selector, click the Text Effect button, and then drag a Text Effect thumbnail to the Storyline background or (if you have the optional Timeline feature) to the Timeline text effects track.
