Working with markers in the Timeline view
In the Timeline view, you can add markers to your movie. Markers allow you to easily skip to a selected position in the movie. You can also use markers to define the beginning and end of a section to be deleted.
When you add your movie to a MyDVD project, you can convert the markers to chapters.
The marker track appears immediately below the Timeline toolbar.
To add a marker to your movie:
1 Move the playback head to the position at which you want to add the marker, either by dragging, or using the Preview controls.
2 On the Timeline marker track, click the Add marker at current position button, which is denoted with a plus symbol (+).
3 Repeat step 1 and step 2 for each marker you want to add.
To delete a marker in your movie:
1 Click the marker you want to delete.
2 On the Timeline marker track, click the Remove selected marker button, which is denoted with minus symbol (–).
To delete a section of your production between two markers:
1 Add a marker at the beginning and end of the section to be deleted.
2 Click the Timeline marker track between the two markers. A line will appear between the two markers.
