Using the Pan & Zoom Editor Advanced option
The Pan & Zoom Editor Advanced option allows you to apply advanced motion effects using key frames. (A key frame is a frame for which you define properties such as the amount of zoom and the focus position.) During the time between the key frames, Pan & Zoom Editor gradually changes the effect settings from the settings defined in the first key frame to the settings defined in the second key frame.
Using the Pan & Zoom Editor involves these steps:
4 Preview. Preview the motion effect you have just created.
5 Close. Once you are finished, accept or reject your changes.
To create an advanced Pan & Zoom zoom effect:
1 In the Pan & Zoom Editor, select Advanced.
2 In the Key frame list, click Start to set the starting key frame.
3 Drag the slider until the bounding box encloses the amount of the photo to be displayed in the Start key frame, and then drag the bounding box to the desired location.
You have successfully set the Start and first key frame of the motion path. Now you can set additional key frames.
Add new key frames:
1 Move the playback head to the position at which you want to add the new key frame. You can drag the playback head or use the playback controls.
2 Click Add.
A new key frame marker is added to that position, and a new key frame is added to the Key frame list.
3 Adjust the size of the bounding box by dragging the slider.
4 Adjust the position of the bounding box by dragging the box to a new location.
Tip: You can preview any key frame by selecting it in the Key frame area—the key frame bounding box is displayed in the Preview window.
5 Optional: Repeat
step 1 to
step 4 to add, resize, and position additional key frames.
6 Optional: To change the size and position of the End key frame, in the key frame area click End to set the end key frame, and then drag the slider to change the size of the bounding box, and drag the bounding box to a new location.
7 To preview the effect, select Start in the Key frame list and click Play.
