Adjusting tint
Follow this procedure to correct the tint of a photo. The tint is the overall hue and balance of color. You might use this feature to remove an unnatural color tint caused by the lighting conditions present when the photo was taken (for example, if the photo was taken under fluorescent lighting). You might also use this feature to remove the yellow tint in old, scanned, photos.
To adjust the tint:
1 If the photo you want to edit is an object in the PhotoSuite project file, select it in the Canvas.
2 In the Fix pane, click Tint.
3 Choose one of the following ways to adjust the tint:
n To let PhotoSuite automatically adjust the tint, click an area in the photo that should be white or gray.
n To manually adjust the tint, use the sliders to adjust the following settings:
n Tint Color: Specify the color you want to tint the photo.
n Tint Balance: Increase or decrease the tint in the photo.
Tip: To restore the tint settings to their original values, click Reset.
